Triple funk is a newer project featuring myself on drums, Travis Pullman on guitar and Yusaku on keys. I've been doing a lot of organ trio type stuff on drums for about a year now and usually draw from a whole pool of great musicians familiar with that style. This particular grouping (Yusaku and Travis) is really special though so I gave it a name other than Jazzadelic or John Frazee Trio. These two guys really checked out and learned a lot of tunes that I recently dug up. We also tend to gravitate toward more contemporary styles rather than the vintage groovy stuff. On occasion we've been adding a DJ as well!!
